Wendell to be part of Panel Discussion “Beyond Craft: Decorative Arts from the Leatrice S. and Melvin B. Eagle Collection”

Wendell will be joining Adrian Saxe, a celebrated ceramicist, and craft scholar Janet Koplos and Museum curator Cindi Strauss for a panel discussion at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014. They will examine issues in craft’s evolution and how the artistic and critical foundations laid during this era affected their personal work over time and the craft field at large. Both Wendell and Adrian Saxe are represented in the exhibition Beyond Craft: Decorative Arts from the Leatrice S. and Melvin B. Eagle Collection.
